Although technology is the primary vehicle of Inventing Mostly, innovation is a creative process and frequently involves combining concepts or elements from different realms in new ways. Inventing Mostly exists to provide others with the insight, exploration, advice, assistance and expertise needed to pursue innovation.

Who is Inventing Mostly?

John Schmidt, Principal at Inventing Mostly LLC, has over 15 years experience in a broad array of innovative technologies. Originally trained as a computer engineer, he has dabbled extensively and sometimes professionally in telecommunications, eCommerce, product development, cognitive science, quality assurance, linguistics, ethnography, user experience design (mobile and tethered) and archaeology. He has worked with Match.com, Sprint, The Motley Fool, Verizon, Qualcomm, Nextel, Toys 'R Us and the US Department of Defense.
